David Miller is a Professor Emeritus
from Columbia University's Graduate
School of Business, Division of
Management Science. There Professor
Miller taught statistics, operations
research, decision analysis, probability
theory, mathematics, and various
quantitative applications for
36 years, in addition to serving
as coordinator of the Division
of Management Science, and the
PhD program at the graduate school.
Professor Miller has also served
as a consultant in statistics
and operations research to many
companies, including Morgan Guaranty
Trust, J. Walter Thompson, Equitable
Life, IBM, McKinsey & Co.,
Borden Co., General Foods, Arthur
Andersen and many others. He is
the author or coauthor of more
than ten books.

including Morgan Guaranty Trust (6 years), J. Walter Thompson (5 years), Equitable
Life Assurance (2-3 years), IBM (several years), McKinsey & Co., Borden
Co., General Foods, Arthur Andersen, Benton & Bowles, YPF in Argentina;
and many others.
Other Teaching
Courses in a variety of quantitative subjects at New York U.,Michigan State
University, University of Cape Town, University of Stellenbosch, and about twenty
years at IBM's Systems Research Institute. Innumerable lectures and short courses
to many different companies and organizations.
